✓ Are you receiving oral or injectable HIV prevention medication (PrEP)?
✓ Have you had a positive HIV test?
✓ If so, you may qualify for this study
Patients who have recently had a positive or reactive test for HIV, and who were using oral or injectable PrEP before this test, may be eligible to participate in the SeroPrEP Study.
WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THE STUDY?
Participants may be asked to complete a questionnaire with study staff by phone or Zoom. The questionnaire will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
Participants may have up to 6 visits for specimen collection. Specimens collected may include the following:
Up to 3.5 tablespoons of blood
About 3 tablespoons of urine
A small hair sample (up to 100 strands of hair)
Participants will be followed for approximately 2 years
WILL PARTICIPANTS BE PAID?
In return for their time and effort, participants will receive a $75 gift card for each study visit.
